This Monday I had the honor of taking Marcos' 2018 Senior portraits. We were able to have our session at Texas Old Town down in Kyle, Tx! I was so excited to be able to explore such a gorgeous area on such a beautiful day! You could really tell that this location was built for photographers. There was shade and beautiful lighting everywhere you turned, and it would be hard to miss the beautiful greenery and rustic architecture.
When Marcos first arrived with his mom, Lisa, it was simply the start of another session. However, as soon as the camera came up that smile started beaming brighter than the sun itself! The fact that I had not shot with someone in their mariachi attire before simply did not matter anymore, because no matter how I asked him to pose it turned out AWESOME! His smile was infectious and it made me that much more excited to try something new.
Marcos and his mom were so sweet. They were willing to try whatever I suggested, even if it meant having to be in that very hot uniform on a very hot day for just a little while longer. I was happy to see them still eager and excited, especially since I had already promised about 5 times that it would only be one more pose before he could go change. :) In the end, I think it is safe to say that it was all worth it. The hot day, the hot outfit, and the rambling photographer. I couldn't be happier with how these portraits turned out.
So, even though I never got to hear you play your violin I still want to say, congratulations Marcos! I wish you all the best with your future, and I hope to see you and your mom again soon!
